Liechtenstein

Liechtenstein - Is officially known as The Principality of Liechtenstein. Liechtenstein is a European Country and is completely surrounded by other countries, which means it has no ports of sea. Liechtenstein shares borders with Switzerland and Austria. The Principality of Liechtenstein was established within the Holy Roman Empire in 1719. Liechtenstein became fully independent in 1866 when the Germanic Confederation, it had joined in 1815, dissolved. Liechtenstein has a stable and growing economy due to low taxes. Liechtenstein has developed into a prosperous, highly industrialized, free-enterprise economy with a vital financial service sector and living standards on a par with its large European neighbors. Liechtenstein implemented anti-money-laundering legislation and a Mutual Legal Assistance Treaty with the US went into effect in 2003. Liechtenstein is the smallest German-speaking country in the world. Liechtenstein was once part of the ancient Roman empire.
