Czech Super Model Petra Němcová

Petra Němcová - born 24 June 1979 in Karviná, Czechoslovakia, now Czech Republic). She became a model after being spotted at the age of 16 during a national talent search.

She was featured on the cover of the 2003 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue but appeared also in the editions of 2001, 2003, 2004, 2005 and 2006. She has also modeled for Victoria's Secret, and for many other companies in the women's clothing market.


Petra is a model, television host, author, and philanthropist.

In December 2004, she was injured at the Khao Lak resort in Thailand by a tsunami resulting from the 2004 Indian Ocean earthquake; her then-fiancé, photographer Simon Atlee, was killed in the tsunami. Nemcova suffered a broken pelvis and serious internal injuries, but managed to hold onto the top of a palm tree, reportedly for eight hours, until she was rescued and airlifted to an island hospital nearby.



Petra agreed to pose in her hospital bed for Us Weekly, after the magazine agreed to donate $200,000 to the Asian tsunami relief efforts. Petra, started a charitable children's foundation, The Happy Hearts Fund.

2007 was a year of humanitarianism for Petra Nemcova. Not only was she a presenter at the American leg of Live Earth in July 2007, but she also visited Haiti in November with Wyclef Jean as part of a charity-sponsored event. She even became a vegan!



Born and raised in Karvina, in the Czech Republic, Petra Nemcova has taken the modeling world by storm. Ever since a modeling scout discovered her on the streets of her native country.

She has gained the nickname of "Czech Chick".

The name of this dish "Chicken and Vegetables" known locally as Kure se zeleninou is prepared with potatoes, broccoli, carrots, Brussels sprouts, mushrooms topped off with chicken stuffer with garlic pieces add salt or other spices to taste.

Bake at 350* F for 1 hour and then butter on top of chicken. After the butter add paprika sweet red and bake for another 30 minutes until it is crunchy or crisp.

This hearty dish can quench any mans appetite. American men are very fond of the flavors shared by European ladies.

Czech Republic - Is officially known as The Czech Republic. The Czech Republic is a European Country and is completely surrounded by other countries, which means it has no ports of sea. As of January 1, 2009, the Czech Republic holds the EU Presidency. In 1968, an invasion by Warsaw Pact troops ended the efforts of the country's leaders to liberalize Communist party rule and create "socialism with a human face." Anti-Soviet demonstrations the following year ushered in a period of harsh repression. With the collapse of Soviet authority in 1989, Czechoslovakia regained its freedom through a peaceful "Velvet Revolution." On 1 January 1993, the country underwent a "velvet divorce" into its two national components, the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
