Hungary
Hungary - Is officially known as the Republic of Hungary. Hungary is a European Country and is completely surrounded by other countries, which means it has no ports of sea. Hungary shares borders with Austria, Slovakia, Ukraine, Romania, Serbia, Croatia, and Slovenia. Hungary fell under Communist rule following World War II. Under the leadership of Janos Kadar in 1968, Hungary began liberalizing its economy, introducing so-called "Goulash Communism." Hungary held its first multiparty elections in 1990 and initiated a free market economy. Hungary joined the North Atlantic Treaty Organization in 1999 and the European Union in 2004. Hungary has reduced it's large budget deficit, but the reforms have dampened domestic consumption, slowing Gross Domestic Product growth to about 2% in 2007.
Hungarian civilizations can be traced back to just after 450 BC during it's Celtic period. Hungary is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the world, the capital city of Budapest is regarded as "one of the most beautiful urban landscapes in the world".
